Random-ness

Ways to keep a relationship working: (ayon sa kumakalat na text msg.)

1. Love each other
2. Dont lie
3. Keep communication open
4. Stay sweet
5. When you got hurt, just forgive and forget. (i dont think so. ok pa yung forgive, pero forget? mahirap ata gawin un.)
6. Never talk about break ups.
7. Never say its ok, even if its not.
8. Forget about PRIDE
9. If you say sorry, mean it
10. Dont compare your past to your present
11. Dont talk about your ex's
12. Give and take process (i think this is really important)
13. Be sensitive. Be aware of his/her feelings
14. When you had a fight, dont let the day pass without working it out. (i agree.)

Bringing Back the Faith that was once Lost

this past few weeks, i've been really trying to communicate with God. i want to get close to Him. i havent gone to church for the past years. yes, its been years already. i even forgot when was the last time i attended mass. and last night while talking to Him, i accidentally fall asleep, while saying what i feel. and then naalingpungatan ako, i said again what i feel but then again, nakatulog nanaman ako.

i can say that i only talk to Him when everything was starting to fall apart. parang naaalala ko lang Siya pag may problema na ko, o pag may gusto ako. and i want to stop that kind of ... ah attitude. i want to open a constant communication with Him. and i will do it.

i will let Him give the Life I deserve. :D

Plano.

summer is about to end. it wasnt a very productive summer for me. haha ano nga ba ang ginawa ko buong summer...?

at the start of summer, i planned that i would/will read my old books and lecture notes to ugh get ready for the board exam. study by myself. unfortunately, i didnt do it right. i started reading the Merck Vet Manual, and until now i havent finished reading the Circulatory System. its the first part of the book, and there were 10+ topics.

then i tried reading my embryology manual. its from UP haha. i have to read it again because i didnt understand it when i was taking it. and it makes me wonder how come i passed that subject. so now im reading it and taking notes, all by myself...understanding it. at nakakapraning. page 45 palang ako and there were 100++ pages. argh!

to sum it up, natatakot akong kumuha ng board exams. ang daming dapat pag-aralan. pano pag hindi ako pumasa? patay. haha

then i tried looking for a summer job. and i ended up, turning it down for the simplest reason...tinatamad na ko. hahaha..

and yesterday, i have this plan in the not so near future. after i graduate, im planning to take up or study...again, Asian Studies. di ko lang alam kung saan ako kukuha nun pero may course nun sa UST (ata) at UP. di lang yun, before, i planned taking up Medicine after ng Vet Med. weird ano?

ang dami ko kasing gustong gawin.

so thats were/will be my plan. though, im not sure kung matutupad un. dun pa lang sa review semplang na ko.

so got to go, mag-re-review na nga ako.

Hows my cooking Skills?

this is a photo from the recipe book. if you want to see the turn out of my cooking click here

Yay. i cooked for the first time and its a recipe. its called:

Red-braised Fish Steak

Red-braising is a traditional chinese method of cooking meat, poultry and seafood. After searing the item to be cooked in hot oil, a fragrant sauce containing some sugar and soy sauce is poured over it, then the pan is covered and the food allowed to braise for a while. the characteristic dark red sheen is produced by the fusion of soy sauce, sugar and fat. Red braising is an excellent way to cook deep-water fish steaks or fillets.

Ingredients: 650g (1 1/2 lbs) fresh fish steaks or fillets (i used Gindara fish), 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 2 spring onions

Sauce: 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp rice wine, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1/2 tsp vinegar, 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger

Serves 4. Preparation time: 15mins. Cooking time: 10mins.

How:

1. Combine the sauce ingredients and set aside.
2. Rinse the fish and pat dry with paper towels, then sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
3. Heat a skillet or shallow wok over medium heat and rub the entire inside surface with a piece of fresh ginger (this helps prevent sticking). Add the oil.
4. when the oil is hot, place the steaks or fillets in the pan and fry for 2 mins on each side. Gently shake the pan to help prevent sticking.
5. pour the sauce over the fish. gently shake the pan to blend and distribute the sauce evenly, then braise without a lid for 1 to 2 mins.
6. Turn the fish, toss in the spring onions and shake the pan. Braise for 2 more mins and transfer to a serving dish.

if you want it spicy, you can add 1 tablespoon of chili paste to the sauce. :D

Confused

today i went to school to enroll. i was there since 8 am and finished at 10:30. hay! hindi na talaga nagbago ung eskwelahan namin. ive felt sad when i've changed my schedule...kasi hindi ko na magiging kaklase ung crush ko!! ~parang big deal eh. hehehehe...

after school, i went to sm north. sa may national bookstore lang naman, since walang powerbooks dun. the first book i read was blink...ah i forgot the complete title. first page pa lang sobrang interesting na. pero wala akong pera. i looked for the section about animals but i couldnt find it. i end up reading books about travelling. and it made me wonder, sana nag tourism na lang ako.

About work pero nakakapasyal siya. Kainggit. Nurse siya pero hindi siya sa hospital.

When i said it to my younger sister, ang nasabi na lang niya... magpayaman ka na lang. ang hirap naman nun.

my first destination would be, CHINA. kasi wala lang. Dahil lang sa mga pandas. :D

Anyway, lately ive been addicted to exercising. im doing sit ups, kasi gusto ko mag ka-abs. hahahaha.. grabe nakakaaddict talaga. :D
